About Us...
The Curtain Girls Ltd is a traditional curtain making company, with workrooms in Suffolk, offering a countrywide service for lined and interlined curtains, drapes, blinds and bed dressings.
Our workrooms are 4000 sq. ft. and we currently have 14 staff, all trained in house. All our work is made in our own workroom where we can closely monitor quality..
The company has a very `family firm' feel about it, Owner Jane Fiddian has been joined by her daughter Raychel to bring in more skills on the retail side. Nadine our cutter -is daughter of Jane's previous partner Sally (who retired at Christmas) Several of our staff have been with us since leaving school We have staff of all ages, from apprentices ( thank goodness or we will have no one to pass the skills on to!) to the more mature ladies, although, we are of course, all just girls.
As traditional curtain makers, we are committed to keeping the skills of hand made, hand headed curtains alive. All new employees are trained in house to maintain the high standards of skill required.
Everyone who works for the company has an interest and knowledge of sewing, even the office staff who look forward to the madness that is pre-Christmas, as they get to join the pressers & packers to ensure everything possible is out on time.

Plus the many venues where we have worked as a trade maker to leading interior decorators and trade etiquette prevents us from namedropping.
We have made and fitted curtains in many parts of Europe and as far afield as Port Harcourt in Nigeria. We were made so welcome by this client and his local team that despite the security difficulties, we felt very safe and wouldn't have missed it for the world.
